Does anyone have alignment procedure and info for the Yaesu FT2DR, such that the Yaesu mic gain base value can be equalized across modes?
FT2DR soft audio on fm mode
FT2DR booming loud audio in digital
Yaesu agrees that the mic gain on analog and digital are way off from each other, but then says that is normal for that radio.

Good luck. My FT2DR has been at the Yaesu repair facility since last August for that issue along with several others. On that particular issue Yaesu agrees that the mic gain on analog and digital are way off from each other, but then says that is normal for that radio. The manager of the tech service dept was supposed to call me back months ago, but apparently he is no longer there and the new manager hasn't started yet. They are having yet a third service tech look at my radio.
